Charging a visit and commissions
When the appointment is over, charge the client from the agenda. That way you know how much came in each day — in cash, by card, by transfer — and how much each professional is owed at the end of the month.
Charging
- In the Agenda, tap the appointment.
- Tap Charge.
- Check the Service price (it comes from your catalogue; change it if you charged something else, such as a discount or a surcharge) and add the Tip if there was one.
- If the client paid a deposit online, it is already taken off: To charge is what is left.
- Choose how they paid. If they paid with more than one method (half cash, half card), tap Another payment method and split the amount. The payments must add up to exactly what is owed.
- Tap Charge.

The appointment becomes Completed and its detail shows what was charged. If you tap twice or the connection drops, it is charged only once.
Only confirmed or completed appointments can be charged: a cancelled or expired one, or one where the client did not show up, has nothing to charge.
I charged it wrong
The owner or the shop's manager can tap Void charge on the appointment and write why. The appointment stays completed and can be charged again correctly. A voided charge does not count in the till, but it stays on record.
The till
In Reports, the Till card shows what was charged in the period: the total, how much by each payment method, the tips, and day by day. Pick Today to close the day's till.

This is the real money that came in, unlike the catalogue value above it, which is what the services are worth at your prices.
Commissions
In Staff, tap Commission on each professional's row:
- General commission: the percentage of what is charged for their services.
- A different one for a service (for example, colour at 50% and cuts at 40%). Empty = the general one.

The commission is worked out on the charged price of the service, not the tip: the tip is all the professional's. In Reports › Till › By professional you see, for the period, their visits, what was charged, their tips and their commission.
If you change a percentage, it applies to charges from then on: earlier charges keep the percentage they were made with.
