How an appointment works

Every appointment is always in one state. It can only move between states along the paths below. For example, a cancelled appointment cannot be "un-cancelled".

                                  └──► cancelled

How long does a deposit wait?

  • Online payment (MercadoPago): about 10 minutes, the time it takes to pay.
  • Bank transfer: up to 48 hours, because the transfer is made from another app and sometimes clears the next day.

If it isn't paid by then, the appointment becomes expired and the slot is free again.

Why mark completed or no-show?

Those marks feed the Reports: the no-show rate, work done per professional and the month's value. If nobody marks appointments, the numbers are wrong.

A slot is never booked twice

If two people try to take the same slot at the same moment, only one gets it. The other sees Slot just taken and is shown the times still available.
